Role Description:
FilmNation Entertainment is looking for a full-time, entry level Operations Assistant to join us in our Los Angeles office. We are looking for candidates with 0-2 years of professional or relevant experience who enjoy problem-solving and are eager to learn the inner workings of a growing organization. As part of the Operations team, you will collaborate with multiple team members and departments to help manage the company's day-to-day operational functions, ensuring that all three FilmNation offices run smoothly and efficiently. This is an entry-level position that has an excellent opportunity for both learning and advancement. The Operations Assistant will report directly to the Manager of Operations.
The anticipated start date for this role is July 20th 2026
Responsibilities Include:
- Support the Operations Team with day-to-day operations across IT, HR, Facilities and Procurement.
- Serve as primary point of contact for office vendors, building management and day to day office tasks at our Los Angeles office.
- Greet visitors to the LA office.
- Assist with new employee onboarding.
- Coordinate with IT on employee support tickets.
- Support planning and execution of company retreats, holiday parties, and other events.
- Coordinate and book travel as needed.
- Maintain office organization, supplies, and kitchen inventory; place orders as necessary.
- Review, code, and submit monthly vendor invoices to Finance.
- Assist with month-end expense reconciliations.
- Handle internal team scheduling, calendar coordination, and cross-department communication as needed.
- Perform data entry and maintain spreadsheets and internal resources.
- Assist with ad hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- 0-2 years of professional or relevant experience working in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications -- Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- A love for project management softwares such as Airtable is greatly desired.
- Must be highly detail-oriented, analytical, and results-driven.
- Has an innate interest in processes, systems, and efficiency.
- A motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a busy work environment.
- Willingness to learn new systems and workflows, with a desire to grow within operations or production functions.
- Must be eligible to work in the US.

This is an in-office position Monday-Thursday at our offices in Hollywood. Fridays are remote unless otherwise required. This position's annual base salary is $57,425. This does not include any other compensation components or benefits for which an individual may be eligible. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and from which they will be performing the job.
