Neon has unveiled the trailer for "Babes," marking Pamela Adlon's directorial debut. Penned by Ilana Glazer (known for "Broad City") and Josh Rabinowitz, and featuring Glazer, Michelle Buteau, and Hasan Minhaj, the film explores the enduring bonds of friendship amidst the tumultuous journey of adulthood and parenthood.

Set in New York City, "Babes" revolves around childhood pals Eden (portrayed by Glazer) and Dawn (played by Buteau), who find themselves navigating divergent paths in their adult lives. When the carefree and single Eden embarks on a solo journey to motherhood following a spontaneous encounter, their friendship encounters its most formidable test yet. Through a mix of humor, poignant moments, and the trials of childbirth, "Babes" delves into the intricate dynamics of female companionship.

Adlon, alongside Louis C.K., previously crafted the acclaimed series "Better Things" for FX, earning accolades for Adlon's portrayal of a divorced actress raising her three daughters independently. The show concluded its five-season run in 2022.

Glazer, renowned for her multifaceted role in creating, directing, and starring in "Broad City," brings her comedic prowess to "Babes." The Comedy Central series, co-created with Abbi Jacobson, chronicled the misadventures of two Jewish American women in their twenties navigating the vibrant chaos of New York City.

Produced by Glazer, Josh Rabinowitz, Susie Fox, Ashley Fox, and Breean Pojunas, "Babes" secured its U.S. distribution deal through FilmNation Entertainment, Range Media Partners, and CAA Media Finance, with international sales managed by FilmNation.
