FilmNation Entertainment is proud to announce that three of its upcoming titles, I Play Rocky, A Talent For Murder, and Bunker, will screen at the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival as part of this year’s Gala Presentations and Special Presentations programs.

The 51st edition of TIFF will take place September 10–20, bringing together some of the year’s most anticipated films from around the world. The festival’s 2026 lineup features a wide range of acclaimed filmmakers and major international talent, with FilmNation titles represented across two of its most prestigious sections.

I Play Rocky, directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Peter Farrelly, will make its World Premiere in TIFF’s Special Presentations program. The biographical sports drama tells the inspiring story behind the making of Rocky, following Sylvester Stallone’s journey to bring his iconic screenplay to the big screen.

Starring Anthony Ippolito as Stallone, I Play Rocky explores the determination, ambition, and perseverance behind one of cinema’s most beloved underdog stories.

A Talent For Murder, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Anton Corbijn, will make its World Premiere as part of TIFF’s Gala Presentations. The UK-Italy production joins this year’s prestigious Gala lineup, showcasing Corbijn’s latest feature.

Also premiering in the Gala Presentations program is Bunker, directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Florian Zeller. The France-Spain co-production will make its North American Premiere at the festival, further strengthening FilmNation’s presence across TIFF’s marquee programs.

This year’s TIFF Gala and Special Presentations selections showcase films from nearly 30 countries and feature works from some of the world’s most celebrated filmmakers, including Danny Boyle, Pedro Almodóvar, Cristian Mungiu, Chris Rock, Mike Leigh, Ryûsuke Hamaguchi, and Hirokazu Kore-eda.

FilmNation’s participation at TIFF 2026 continues the company’s tradition of championing distinctive, filmmaker-driven storytelling on the global stage. With three highly anticipated titles premiering across Gala Presentations and Special Presentations, FilmNation looks forward to sharing these films with festival audiences and industry partners in Toronto this September.
